Like beauty, meaning is in the eye of the beholder.
You may define a meaningful existence as one filled with love, laughter, and happiness. Or perhaps you believe meaning emerges from seizing the moment and taking full advantage of the opportunities that the world presents. Or you may believe life has meaning only when a person acts in harmony with their values and beliefs. You may take a more holistic approach to the question, believing all of the above are necessary to live a life that really matters.
At Thanksgiving, we’re given a rare opportunity to reflect on what we have to be grateful for. High on that list of blessings are those special individuals who make us happy and who enrich our daily lives through their kind and caring presence.
When we contemplate such things, we wouldn’t normally do so within the context of personality types. But that is an oversight. Each of the different personality types has special qualities they bring to the world – and we think it’s about time we thanked them for those gifts!

For example, all can become stressed and de-energized by excessive socializing (as they define it). If they are surrounded by people for too long, and especially if they’ve been active participants in the conversation, they will need to escape eventually to relax and renew their depleted emotional and psychological reserves.
People with aloof personalities keep to themselves in most social situations. Even with friends and family members they will often appear distant, distracted, and uninvolved. They tend to separate themselves from others, physically, socially, and emotionally. They don’t seem to have much interest in starting or joining conversations, and this is a persistent pattern of behavior.
If you’ve been lucky enough to have them in your life, you know thatINFJsare warm, giving, and supportive. They take great joy in seeing others achieve their dreams and ambitions, and they will help you in any way they can if you give them the opportunity to do so.
Adding to the delight of knowing them, INFJs are also thoughtful, curious, inquisitive, creative, and never afraid to think outside the box. In fact, they prefer to cultivate unique qualities and viewpoints, which makes them fun people to be around.
