Hi Jess, thanks for the great comment! There is much food for thought here including the idea of a type preference (you mentioned thinking, but for different people it could be anything) being a sort of thorn as it leads one down a spiritual path different from what is seen as the norm or most desirable. It is also interesting to think about how God may have made some people that way, with something they consider a thorn, for the purpose of bringing them closer to Him. By the way, I also experience faith as a knowing rather than a feeling, even though I am a Feeling type. For me my faith is more solid because it is based on thinking and questioning. I suspect my thinking is not the same kind that a Thinker experiences, but I need a faith that is based on facts as well as feelings.
