Of all the interesting replies to this highly accurate female INTP description, I feel like I could offer the most insight on this particular one. Five minutes ago, I was trying to figure out if I've ever even met another female INTP and I cannot recall a single one. Looks like the internet has once again offered an avenue of connection otherwise not possible. I also force everyone I know to let me type them because it's like a fun puzzle figuring people out and making connections between different personality types. The MBPI is based on the studies of Carl Jung (an INTP), and it's no surprise that we love learning about it.

Work. Oh yes. The most challenging and probably the most important aspect of my life to figure out because it kinda ya know... takes money to live. This article nailed it. We quite literally cannot maintain a job or career for very long unless we absolutely love it. If I'm not interested in something, you can forget it. I may be able to fake my way through some boring occupation temporarily but you won't find us in careers that we hate or dislike in any way. It took me 28 years to finally decide what I wanted to be when I grew up but once I discovered what that was, I went from an unfocused slacker to a driven business owner and success came as natural as breathing. As it turned out, I love plants and landscape design. I sucked at every other job I ever tried because it was boring and I had zero motivation to even try. Once I got a taste of landscaping, it was over. I'm pretty sure I started with about $5 and it's hard to remember now how I managed to make it all work but as you all know, there is no stopping us from achieving any goal we set for ourselves. It's as if we don't even consider the possibility of failure and we just manifest things out of sheer will. Obviously, I naturally love science and math but this article touched on our tendency to lean towards creativity. It's true. It is just spot on and LOL Landscape Design is living proof. I would LOVE to learn what all of you other female INTPs do for a living. I've never even thought about connecting with another female INTP before and now I'm obsessed with learning all the things about them.

Honestly, that was just a lot of words for: If you want to achieve success in your career for any sustained length of time, it is imperative that you figure out what it is that you love to do and think about in this world. What is so simple for most people who seem to have it figured out by the end of high school, is the hardest part for us. Once you know what you want to do, the rest of it comes easy. The how, who, when, and where parts, the complicated process of figuring out making it all possible, are where most people struggle or fail. Not us. Figuring things out is our superpower.
