Maybe it’s how I was raised, but with each conversation, I speak after the person I’m talking to is done, and I respond to the best of my ability with empathy, expressing the good ear I just lent whoever is listening. The big decisions I make have been carefully thought out with one condition: “Will this harm anyone involved?” I cannot speak for all ENFPs, but I do not believe I am self absorbed and bad at listening.
