As an infj, if I'm being polite, you may equate that with insincere.

I work in the authentic dimension of nature, natural, and grounded, not the social dimension of appearances, format, and protocol.

When we engage, we come across as 'real,' not polite. If we feel trapped in a social situation, the first priority is to escape, the second is to pretend to fit in while we make a plan to escape.

The author of this opinion doesn't appreciate the complexity of what it means to be gifted with what you call infj.
