I didn't like my number either at first. I'm a 9. All I could see at first was passive and slothful. "The passion of sloth" - Yuck. Gradually, like you, I came to see the positive attributes, like empathetic, calm, and loving. Still working on it but I've tested myself about 10 times and I'm definitely a 9.
