Oh yep, this is so me! As an ISTJ I really identify with "we really don't like surprises"!!! And this is really to my partner's frustration, but working through my type with her has really helped her to see that it's not a reflection on her, it's just how I operate! I have also now tried to incorporate this into my business, because I don't like 'surprises' from staff either! So I always ask them to keep me in the loop early about anything that may be an issue.
