I had this very same experience working at large corporate ad agencies. I was adored by clients and also by the top brass who trusted me to get things done creatively and effectively. But truthfully, I probably didn't have the people skills to succeed at the top. I switched to freelancing and enjoyed it much more. Meanwhile, my husband, an ENTJ, became a CEO.
