I'm an INTJ and this resonates with me. I've spent over the past decade in an industry that I care about intensely. The problem is that it relies heavily on practical activity rather than quiet reflection. The people who control the power are usually people who value practical activity and 'experience'. Of course, experience matters, but doing the same thing every year for 20 years isn't 20 years experience. I don't want to 'overthrow' anyone. I don't even want anyone's job. I just want them to stop doing pointless things and getting terrible results. These incompetent people will resent you for knowing how to fix their problem and try to 'kill' you instead of just listening. It's a combination of temperaments that gets results. Having a clear vision and being able to combine many big ideas together to create a system of continuous improvement is what INTJ's do for the team. It's a tragedy when this is compromised for the group because of pettiness.
