Adaptation works untill you run into a narcissist abusive boss.
I worked for 16 years in one of the largest oil companies. The first 13 bosses accepted the benefits of having an INTJ gracefully. The last one could not. When the abuse and gaslighting did not bend or break me, he simply fired me killing the system which I nurtured. No reason given, no handover requested.
He hurt the business, not my problem any more. I am glad I didn't have to pull the plug. INTJ don't give up easily.
