A (Confirmed) INTJ-A~ (not verified)says...

Hi,
I have to say, I am glad that I've stumbled across this article. You have some great points, and I definitely agree that there is a strange abundance of people claiming to be the rarest personality type, possibly because of the "coolness" and inflated ego it brings in today's world, where the internet has cultivated weird=cool. I think that if most of the people who thought this (consciously or not), including the people claiming to be this type, actually even met a legitimate INTJ, they would be quick to renounce this mindset, and quick to renounce their declaration of INTJ-ness.
I came across the test on Sixteen Personalities while researching my favorite psychologist Carl Jung and took the test without even knowing what an INTJ was. I did some research on the type, and it really caught me off guard with how accurate it was.
Another question this raises is can things (the internet, for example) legitimately change the world's balance of MBTI types? Or, in other words, does the amount of each personality type stay relatively static throughout human history? I could go on to talk about what makes a personality type, human evolution, born vs raised, etc. but I'll keep this short and sweet.
Personally, this issue does anger me slightly. When you are genuinely deeply misunderstood by most of the other personality types, seeing people claiming to be an INTJ because of a time they won an argument about the existence of god or something stereotypically INTJ, I don't know it just makes them look desperate to me.
